The Gonfalonier Issues a Statement on U.S. Airstrikes in Venezuela; Condemns Capture of President Maduro
From the Office of Gonfalonier Eduardo Daniele,
The Republic of Verraland strongly condemns in all terms the unlawful military strikes by the United States of America on the sovereign territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the outrageous, illegal capture of the nation’s democratically elected President, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores.
These actions constitute a blatant violation of the most fundamental principles of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the right of all peoples to self-determination. They represent an act of unprovoked aggression and an egregious intervention in the internal affairs of a sovereign state. The use of force to effect regime change is a dangerous and destabilizing practice that risks civil unrest and a possible power vacuum.
The capture of a head of state under such circumstances is not an act of law enforcement but an act of state kidnapping and a gross assault on the dignity of the Venezuelan people and their institutions.
As Gonfalonier, I hope for the immediate and unconditional release of President Maduro and First Lady Flores. We call all nations that uphold the rule of law to unequivocally reject this aggression and to take all necessary measures to ensure the full restoration of Venezuela’s sovereignty and constitutional order.
The Republic of Verraland stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and their right to peace, sovereignty, and a future free from foreign interference and coercion.

It's utter stupidity to condemn the capture of a dictator. Only a brainwashed person would do that. They have no idea what the Venezuelan people have suffered, just so a bunch of sensationalists can come and feign outrage. Were you outraged when thousands of Venezuelans had to abandon everything for a better future? Were you outraged when the dictatorship ordered the assassination of those who opposed it or spoke out against it? Honestly, condemning the freedom of a country is the stupidest thing anyone can do. I don't understand that way of thinking. I hope you'll see what's happening there with different eyes, with eyes that reflect reality.
